Fourth Steering Committee Meeting – 7 July 2020

Following the completion of the first year of the Improving the Detection Capacity of Turkish Customs Enforcement Project, which started on 10 June 2019, 4 Steering Committee was held online on 7 July 2020 with the participation of many stakeholders due to the current pandemic conditions.

Adnan AKGÖZ, Head of the Projects and Technical Systems Department of the Ministry of Trade, who opened the meeting, drew attention to the progress covered, the results achieved and the developments achieved in the project during the year. In his speech, AKGÖZ referred to the outputs obtained within the scope of all components and showed them as one of the most important developments.

Afterwards, Mehmet Zahid Berktaş, Project Manager from the Technical Support Team, shared the completed and planned activities within the scope of components with the participants.
